Danielle has been in the business of storytelling for more than 17 years.
A Class of 2000 Cal Poly – SLO Journalism graduate, Danielle began her career as a reporter, spending nearly a decade in newspapers, covering everything from education to city government, and myriad features in between. She later worked as a freelancer with a focus on features and entertainment stories, honing her skills as a writer and editor in various platforms (blogs and social media).
In 2010, Danielle began a new career path in corporate communications. Her journalistic skills translated easily, including her ability to produce top-notch copy while juggling multiple assignments under tight deadlines, converting vast amounts of information into concise analysis, and building bridges with people from different backgrounds.
Today, she is a senior manager of digital and social content for Levi Strauss & Co., where she represent the “external expression” of a truly iconic company. She is responsible for its corporate blog (editor-in-chief and contributor along with a team of freelancers), company website and corporate social media channels.
