Keith Eldridge

Keith has experienced 45 years as a professional broadcast journalist. Currently working at KOMO-TV News in Seattle, since 1983. Worked as a weekend anchor, field reporter and is now the South Sound Bureau Chief handling coverage of the entire southern portion of the state. Keith is the main legislative reporter and he handles several military bases and all breaking news as a 'live' reporter. 

Prior to KOMO-TV, Keith worked as a reporter at KCNC-TV in Denver (1981-83), anchor-reporter at KSEE-TV in Fresno (1976-81) and news director-DJ at KVEC Radio in SLO (1972-76). 

During his time at Cal Poly, Keith interned at KSBY-TV, Santa Maria Times and TelePrompTer Cable 4 in Santa Maria. He attended Cal Poly as a freshman in 1970 in Printing and switched to Journalism in 1971. He was the sports editor of the Mustang Daily and DJ at KCPR before landing a full time professional position at KVEC in 1972.  

Ed Zuchelli was Keith’s mentor and he proudly received only a few red 'see me' marks from Jim Hayes. Keith walked with the class of '75 but didn't get all the final details done for the BS degree until '79.
