Richard Gearhart Promoted to KSBY’s Evening News Anchor

Richard Gearhart (Journalism, '91) has been named KSBY’s evening news anchor after serving as the face of the morning news show, “Daybreak,” for 27 years.

Gearhart is an associate broadcast journalism professor who teaches the capstone class, JOUR 353, Advanced Broadcast Journalism Practicum, where students produce live 15-minute newscasts twice per week.
