Claudia Buck

Claudia Buck is a longtime journalist, who’s covered a wide range of news beats, from city government and state politics in California’s capitol to personal finance and health care. At The Sacramento Bee, she was a business editor, as well as a personal finance columnist. Most recently, she covered health care during the Obamacare years. Earlier in her career, she worked as a freelance writer/editor and was managing editor of California Journal, a nonpartisan public policy magazine. Since retiring from the Sacramento Bee in 2017, she continues work as a freelance writer and editor. She currently serves as chair of the Cal Poly Journalism Advisory Board.
