Paul Bittick Recognized as Journalism Educator of the Year
The California Journalism & Media Affiliates recently named Paul Bittick, Cal Poly’s Mustang Media Group general manager, as the 2017 Journalism Educator of the Year in the 4-Year Division.
Donation Funds HD Upgrade to Student-run TV Studio
Thanks to a $100,000 donation to the Journalism Department from Bill and Cheryl Swanson, the university’s student-run television studio was outfitted with the latest cameras, switchers and other equipment, allowing students to broadcast in high definition.
